Guard that Beautiful Smile

Do you have an active lifestyle? Do any of your family members play soccer, basketball, or ride a bicycle? Any sport that involves close contact with team members or played on a hard surface poses a risk of injury to the mouth and teeth.  Damage to front teeth can affect a person’s speech, appearance and self esteem.  Furthermore, the time and cost involved in restoring teeth after a traumatic injury can run very high.

An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.  Before you or your family members play any sport, make sure to wear a custom-fit mouth guard.  Sports mouth guards go beyond just saving the front teeth, they have been shown to prevent concussions, unconsciousness and even brain injury.
While stock sports mouth guards are available in many drug stores, they provide the least protection and the poorest fit.   Our office can provide you with a custom fit mouth guard that is comfortable, and that does not interfere with speech or breathing.  Most importantly, because of the personalized fit, the mouth guard will stay in the mouth and provide maximum protection.
